A fair start is more than a good intention.
When a young adult does not get a fair start, the alternatives are homelessness and the prison system. We say that plainly, then build another path.
Give a seat
Young adults God has not forgotten are often asked to choose between no work and no way back.
A skilled trade gives a person something concrete to practice, a crew to answer to, and a way to provide. Jesus gives the person a new center.
Fair Start does not compete with shelters or existing vocational centers. We are their next step — the handoff from rescue to responsibility.
Local work deserves local truth.
We will not make up local statistics, job-placement rates, graduate counts, or testimonials. We will keep adding verified stories as students, churches, and contractors give permission.
Measure the work
Hours documented. OSHA-10. Interviews. A budget. A church mentor. A job interview or apprenticeship slot.
Protect the crew
Safety and sober readiness are admissions requirements. Supervision is part of every trade path.
Keep Christ first
Work does not save. Christ saves. The program refuses to hide the Word or the trade.
